HEALTH CARE
In the event of any health-related issues we have arranged for our clients the services of a private physician who can come to our resort.
In the event of any sudden or serious health problems, there is also a private ambulance service that is able to transport the patient across the bay in a specialised and well-equipped medical boat (with an arrival time of around 15 minutes) to a local hospital or to arrange immediate helicopter transport to a specialised hospital in the capital city, San José.
The distance to the local hospital in Paquera is about 20 km, a 35-minute drive.
The distance to the emergency dental surgery in Jicaral is about 18 km, a 30-minute drive.
It is important to us that you feel safe and secure during your stay with us, and that includes with respect to your health.
